National Night Out Party in the Eastside Pioneers Neighborhood Association. Neighbors blocked off an avenue near East Park, last Tuesday August 6, for a National Night Out Party. Neighbors came together for a picnic, to have some fun, to get to know one another and to promote neighborhood camaraderie. Neighbors wanted to also send a message to criminals letting them know that they are organized and fighting back to protect their neighborhoods. Also seen in the picture are members of the Rochester Guardian Angels Safety Patrol organized in 2009 to help also in the effort to keep Rochester’s neighborhood s safe.
