The Eastside Pioneers Neighborhood Association (ESPNA) meeting is the second Thursday of each month. We will be meeting on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 7 PM in the 2nd floor conference room at the Boys and Girls Club, 1026 East Center. Our speaker(s) for the evening will be Willie Tipton and associates from Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge (MnTC).
At Mn Adult and Teen Challenge their mission is to assist individuals in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life-controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
As you have no doubt heard MnTC has opened a Southern MN Campus in Rochester. It is located in North Rochester at 1530 Assisi Drive. This 100-bed facility was established in 2014 and is home to their long-term recovery program, and their shorter-term residential treatment program, Life Renewal. According to Pati McConeghey, Communications Manager at MnTC, “For years we have served residents of the Southern MN area, but the challenge of being treated far from your family and other support makes things harder. We wanted to serve these clients and many more in their own neighborhood.”
