Hello Eastside neighbors and friends!
The Board and Bylaws Committee had a busy week. We met on December 3rd to discuss proposed changes to our Association Bylaws, and I am happy to say the document is now more inclusive, and reader-friendly. Thanks to the Board and Bylaws Committee for their efforts! Please see the attachments below for your review. We will also post the proposed Bylaws on the ESPNA.us website. Voting to adopt the proposed Bylaws will occur at our next scheduled meeting on January 10, 2019. Please attend and bring your voice.
As many of you may know, the Rochester Park Board recently changed the name of East Park to MLK Park. Although it is within the rite of the Park Board to change the name without seeking our neighborhood input, I wanted to gather information from neighborhood members on their preference about the change. Donovan Bailey has been invited to attend our January 10 meeting and answer questions. We will then vote on our name preference for our adopted park.
