This is a reminder that if you have been following the Miracle Mile Hearings regarding a proposed development on that property don’t forget to attend tonight’s, Monday October 17, city council meeting.
This is in the Kutzky Neighborhood but they have asked for other neighborhood’s support at the city council meeting tonight.
Below is a note from Jesse Welch, Kutzky Park Neighborhood Association President.
All,
We only have one week left before the Miracle Mile project will be heard before the City Council for final approval. You’ve all expressed concern over this project and/or are great advocates for Kutzky Park; we need your help!
Kellie met with Mark Hickey last week and he said that the neighborhood’s opinion is one of three main things he considers when hearing a project. We really need to get as many letters in front of the council as possible.
I’ve attached a document that contains information on the project and email addresses for our council members. Your note can address anything angle that matters to you, the important thing is they hear your voice! Please email the council this week and copy me so I can collect and submit all emails into the public record.
For those who are available, please also come speak in person on Monday, October 17th.
And finally…please forward this on to anyone I may have missed who is an advocate for neighborhoods, safety and good urban design.
Thank you, thank you!!
Jesse
