Rochester Neighbors Helping Neighbors Kickoff

The Eastside Pioneers Neighborhood Association (ESPNA) and Family Services Rochester are working together to help keep seniors and people with disabilities independent and living in their homes. It is called Neighbors helping Neighbors which also happens to be our neighborhood association motto.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors utilizes the skills and talents of everyone in the neighborhood to enrich each other lives and make it possible for seniors and people with disabilities to remain living in their homes.

Family Services Rochester and the Eastside Pioneers Neighborhood Association (ESPNA) are partnering to help our seniors and people with disabilities with the things they need to do to be able to remain living in their homes. Family Service partners with the senior or a person with a disability and their family circle to determine what is helpful to them-then they partner with the neighbors and others to make that happen right at home and in the neighborhood.  It is neighbors helping neighbors.

Family Services Rochester will be kicking off the Rochester Neighbors Helping Neighbors (RNHN) on Tuesday October 27 at 9:30 at The Place—corner of E. Center St. & 11th Ave. SE in the heart of Eastside Pioneers Neighborhood Association (ESPNA).  April Sutor, director of Innovation and Collaboration at Family Service Rochester as well as executive director, Scott Maloney from Family Service Rochester will be there as will MN State Representative Tina Liebling and Michelle Lichtig, Community Outreach Planner MN Department of Human Services. Mayor Brede will also be in attendance to do a proclamation. Please join us.
