Neighborhood Elections

The Eastside Pioneers Neighborhood Association (ESPNA) will be holding our neighborhood elections at our next meeting on Thursday, November 14. We will be meeting in the church basement, St. Francis Hall, at St. Francis Catholic Church located at 4th Street and 11th Avenue S.E.. Doors open at 7 PM.

We have two board directors positions open. ESPNA board members have the following duties

1) Manage the daily affairs of the neighborhood association.

2) Make decisions and represent the interests of the neighborhood association on all matters for which it is impractical to present to the membership in advance. All such actions shall be reported to the membership at the next regular meeting.

3) Appoint committees to perform necessary functions and represent the neighborhood association on specified topics.

4) Establish a plan for maintaining and encouraging involvement in the neighborhood association.

Candidates for each office may be self- nominated or nominated by any member at the Annual November Election meeting

This is a a great website. Looks like things are coming together.

    1. Thank you Patricia. I agree the website is looking good and seems to be coming together. Thank you for your advice and input. Keep it coming.

  2. How about a tab for the neighborhood meeting minutes? In case we miss the meeting, we can read it to see what happened.

    1. Another thought – a tab for any current issues in the neighborhood would be a way to keep everyone updated. And then it would be great to have a tab with a history and amenities of the neighborhood – for people who are considering moving here.

    2. Posting the minutes would be greatly appreciated and keep all of us better informed.
